SSALD Celebrates Community Day 

Community Day is happening May 9 from 11am–3pm at Northwood Elementary!

This FREE SSALD PTA family event celebrates inclusion for families with kids with learning differences and disabilities. Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, an adaptive bike course, soccer fun, adaptive dance, school buses and police cars to explore, a giant video game truck, a bubble station, and more.

We’ll also host a resource fair featuring summer camps, therapies, and service providers who support kids with learning differences and disabilities.

Come hungry—Ayy Amor Taqueria and Cascade Pizza will be onsite with food available for purchase. Plus, the first 300 kids receive free ice cream.

Community Day is proudly sponsored by the island school PTAs, Mercer Island Rotary, and the Mercer Island Schools Foundation. All families are invited to celebrate inclusion on Mercer Island. We hope to see you there!
