Mercer Island Parent Edge is a non-profit organization which is part of the Mercer Island PTA Council. We coordinate events and programs for parents, students, educators and our community.  Our goal is to encourage dialogue and share best practices.

RACE TO NOWHERE is a close-up look at the pressures on today's students, offering an intimate view of lives packed with activities, leaving little room for down-time or family time.

Join us for the film screening and panel discussion as we begin a community conversation aimed at exploring the best ways to support our students.  The discussion will be moderated by MI parent and KUOW radio host, Bill Radke.

The film examines micro-aggressions, allyship, the role of social media and more. Learn how conversations can help build empathy at home, work, and school.
