Youth Suicide PRevention
LEARN Saves Lives
Suicide Prevention Training
for High School Students and Parents
Representatives from MI Parent Edge, MIYFS and MISD have partnered to create the MI Forefront Team. We utilize the curriculum of the UW Forefront program, "LEARN Saves Lives," to offer youth suicide prevention programs and resources to our community.
The vision of UW Forefront is to foster a world that openly addresses suicide and mental health with compassion, and where every individual acts on their capacity to prevent suicide.
Evidence-based prevention strategies can help youth in crisis stay safe and get support. This valuable knowledge supports healthy families and communities. Visit www.intheforefront.org for more information or contact your MIYFS School Counselor.
